Juicing For Health is Easy, Fun and Delicious ! !
Although Juicing For Health is not quite the same as making smoothies, they are complementary to each other, and we felt the subject should not be ignored. So what's the difference? Well, you know how, when you go to the store to get orange juice, you can buy it with no pulp, some pulp, or lot's of pulp? That's the difference. It's going to be a matter of taste, preference, and texture.
Which is better, fruit juicing or blending?
There is a serious debate going on about this subject, a lot of it has to do with the fact that juicing leaves behind the pulp...and it is argued that many of the valuable nutrients can only be found in the pulp, not to mention the fiber content.By leaving behind the pulp, you are missing out on all the benefits these nutrients and fiber offer your body. Juicing refers to extracting the juice only, leaving behind the pulp. Juicing involves a little different method of processing, so you can click here to get more specific information on juicing.. To that end, most people who prefer to juice have specialized equipment designed to separate the pulp from the juice. These machines are simply known as juicers, they come in all price ranges, styles, and shapes. We own three juicers, all are in boxes in the garage. We did try really hard to use them, but simply found them cumbersome to use, and clean up, and they created a lot of waste. I know, some people out there are going to take offense at this...that's OK, it's just not our cup of tea, and since this site is about smoothies, we are probably going to be a little biased...so, we are sorry!(not!!) Juicing machines can be limiting in what they can do, since their sole purpose is to make juice, unlike a smoothie maker, which can make juice, smoothies, ice cream, sorbet, soups, dips and more.

But...the biggest reason to consider smoothies is the nutrient value you lose from the pulp. In addition, the pulp acts to make you feel fuller, and, ultimately should aid in weight loss. Since the Smoothie Insider's mantra is making smoothies, we are going to focus on juicing using smoothie makers, which means we are going to end up with some pulp, or in the case of a smoothie, lot's of pulp. We believe that smoothies offer you a convenient way to consume a large percentage of your daily nutrient requirements simply by combining fruits, vegetables and proteins into a delicious, satisfying beverage you can make at home for a fraction of the cost of a commercially bought smoothie. Regardless of your preference, juicing for health is a great way to get a great way to get a boost of vitamins and minerals.
