Make Fruit Sorbet and Ice Cream with your Blender

Although technically not a fruit smoothie, sorbet(s) fall into their own class. The term is used to mean " frozen desserts made from fruit juices or purees." sorbet ice cream It is made by continuous stirring and freezing of the fruit juice, or puree. This makes it a smooth, dense, and extremely flavorful product.

It is not a sherbet, or ice cream, as both of these have dairy in them. When it comes to frozen dessert, Vegans love sorbets.

They are popular with dieters, and are marketed as very low calorie, and nonfat.

This dessert is typically made at home with an ice cream maker. However, if you have the right blender, you can get the job done, with less mess and clean up.

Once you've made your frozen dessert, it's best to serve it up and eat it right away. You can put it in a container and freeze it, but it tends to lose some of it's velvety smoothness. Enjoy!
